Skype App is a telecommunications application software that specializes in providing video chat and voice calls from computers, tablets and mobile devices via the Internet to other devices or telephones/smartphones. It was first released in August 2003. In this app users can send instant messages, images and exchange files , create conference calls and send video messages. Much of the service is free but users require Skype Credit or a subscription to call landline or mobile numbers.
