The Now Playing screen:

When a song is playing, the Now Playing screen appears.

  • At the top-left, a Shuffle icon appears - if your iPod nano is set to shuffle songs or albums.
  • A Repeat icon appears - when your iPod nano is set to repeat all songs or repeat one song.
  • At the top, you also find the Clock time, the Play or Pause icon and the Battery Status icon.
  • If you slide the Hold switch to the HOLD position, a lock icon appears.
  • A song's Album art, if available, will appear in the middle of the screen. ...
