To play music on your iPod Shuffle

  • Plug the earphones jack into the iPod shuffle.
  • Fit the earphones into your ears. The letters L and R - for your left and right ears respectively - are indicated clearly on the two earphones.
  • Turn on your iPod Shuffle.
Circular Control Pad
  • Now, press Play/Pause on the circular control pad.
  • Control your Shuffle's volume with the + and the - buttons.
  • Press the Next or Forward button once, to skip to the next audio track.
  • Press the Previous or Rewind button once to return to the beginning of the current track.
  • Press and hold the Next or Forward button to fast-forward through the current track....
