Add Events to Calendar Manually


For these operations we are using iPhone visuals since the iPod Touch and iPhone work exactly the same way.

  1. You can add events to an iPhone calendar.
  1. Tap Calendar on the Home screen.
The All Calendars screen opens.Tap Calendars at the top left.
  1. Tap a calendar - say, Birthdays and Anniversaries.
A Birthdays and Anniversaries screen opens.
  1. Tap each view button - List, Day and Month - at the bottom.
Each calendar view has the plus (+) button at the top.
  1. Tap the plus (+) button.
  1. The Add Event screen appears.
    1. Tap Title Location.
    At the top, you are advised to Set the details for this event.
          • Use the onscreen keyboard, and describe your event in the Title field.
          • Next, tap the Location field, and key in your event's location.
                • Tap Save, and return to the Add Event screen.
                  1. Tap Starts Ends.
                    • If it is an all-day event, tap the All-day switch ON.
                        • 3 date selection scrolling wheels appear - for month, date and year.
                        • Also, in the Starts and Ends fields, the current date appears.
                        • If you wish, use the scrolling wheels to change this date.
                        • But, if you wish to set a specific time for the event, tap and turn OFF the All-day switch.
                            • 4 scrolling wheels appear this time.
                            • The first is a combined one - showing day of the week, month and date.
                            • The 2nd wheel sets the hour.
                            • The 3rd sets the minute.
                            • The 4th sets the 2 options - AM or PM.
                            • In the Starts field, the day of the week, current date and time appear.
                            • In the Ends field, only the time appears.
                          • In our demo, the All-day switch is turned OFF
