Delete Messages
For these operations we are using iPhone visuals since the iPod Touch and iPhone work exactly the same way.
- There are 3 ways to delete an email message.
- Swipe across the message on the Inbox screen - and then delete.
- Tap Edit on the Inbox screen - and then delete.
- Open the message, use the delete icon at the bottom of the screen - and then delete.
- To swipe and then delete, first, tap Mail in the Home screen.
- Tap an account, say Dev's Gmail.
- To delete a message, swipe across it - either left or right.
- To deselect a message identified for deletion, tap the screen anywhere in the message area outside the Delete button.
- To delete using the Edit button, first tap the button at the top right of the Inbox screen.
- a round box appears to the left of each message.
- 2 buttons - Delete and Move - appear at the bottom of the screen.
- Next, tap a message.
