Home Screen Applications
- Your iPod Touch application icons appear on its Home screen.
- To launch any application simply tap its icon once.
- With Music, listen to your songs, audiobooks, and podcasts. Create on-the-go playlists or use the Genius feature to automatically create a playlist with songs from your library that go great together.
- With Videos, watch purchased or rented movies, music videos, video podcasts, and TV shows on the go.
- With Photos, view photos and images transferred from your computer, or saved on iPod Touch. View them in portrait or landscape mode, zoom in and out, watch them in a slideshow, assign them to contacts, and use them as wallpaper.
- With iTunes, access the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store music catalog. Browse, preview, and purchase items. Stream and download podcasts.
- Launch App Store, and search the store for iPod Touch applications you can buy or download. Read or write your own reviews for your favorite apps.
- Surf the Internet using Safari. Customize your viewing, sync or create bookmarks, add web clips to the Home screen, save images to your Photo library.
- With Calendar, view the calendars you've transferred from calendars on your computer. Enter events on your iPod Touch and get it synced back to the calendar on your computer. Set alerts to remind you of events, appointments, and deadlines.
