Import Music from CDs


  1. To import music from a CD into iTunes, first ensure iTunes is open.
  1. Insert the audio CD in the CD/DVD drive of your computer.
  1. iTunes detects the audio CD, and the CD title is displayed under 'Devices' on the source list.
Songs from the CD appear on the iTunes window.
  1. A dialog box checks whether you wish to import the CD into your iTunes Library.
  1. Click 'Yes'.
  1. The tracks get sequentially imported.
  1. An orange icon indicates an ongoing import.
  1. Once a track is imported, a green checkmark appears to its left, and the orange icon moves to the next
importing track.
