COMBUSTION


PREPARATORY.Launch Combustion.
Step1. Create a new workspace.
1.1. From the menu choose "File", "New".
1.2. In the panel, name the project, say "Chromakey".
1.3. For footage template choose HDTV 1080 24P.
1.4. Set the duration to 3 seconds 3 frames.
1.5. Click Okay.
Step2. Import the green screen media.
2.1. In the workspace, click on the composition branch "Composite, chroma key".
2.2. Right click on it and in the pop-up choose "Import Footage".
2.3. The Import Footage panel comes up.
2.4. Navigate to the media folder containing the image sequence.
2.5. Click on the thumbnail to choose the image sequence.
2.6. Click on the thumbnail which now appears below in the "source" panel.
2.7. Click on "Source Options".
2.8. The source options panel opens.
2.9. Change the frame rate to 24.
2.10. Click "OK" to close this panel.
2.11. Click "OK" to import the footage.Press "Equal to", on the keyboard, to fit the image in the viewport.
Step3. Now import the background image.
3.1. In the Workspace, select and right click the branch "Composite, chroma key".
3.2. In the pop-up choose "Import Footage".
3.4. The Import Footage panel comes up.
3.5. Navigate to the media folder containing the background image.
3.6. Click on the thumbnail to select it.
3.7. Click on the thumbnail which now appears below.
3.8. Click on "Source Options".
3.9. The source options panel opens.
3.10. Change the duration to 80 frames.
3.11. The frame rate should be 24 fps.
3.12. Click "OK" to close this panel.
3.13. Click "OK" to import the footage.
Step4. In the workspace area, drag the background image branch down below the green screen footage branch.
Step5. Click the timeline Tab.
5.1. Check the timeline to ensure that the two footage clips line up,
Step6. Apply a key operator.
6.1. Right click the green screen branch in the workspace.
6.1. In the pop-up choose "Operators", "Keyin...

Chromakey is used in digital photography and video for the replacement of background images with other digital images.The chroma key blue and green are distinct in hue from the human skin tones so they are mostly preferred for special effects and for video. This technique is used in movies, television and weather broadcasts. Features: Made up of 100% cotton muslin. They are extremely durable and machine washable. It is hemmed on all four sides and it can be slid easily through the poles of the backdrop support system with the help of rod pocket. Use clamps at the edges of the muslin to avoid wrinkles.
