Scanning a Document


Scanned documents can be stored in pdf or tiff format. In this demo we scan to a pdf.
Ensure that the printer is turned on and connected to the computer.
Step 1.Open the scanner cover.
Step 2.Place the document to be scanned face down on the scanner bed, its edges touching the bottom right hand border of the scanning bed.
Step 3.Flip down the scanner lid.
Step 4.Click Start Button > Devices and Printers.
Double click the HP Deskjet 2050 J510 series Icon.
Step 5.In the Panel that opens, click 'Scan a Document or Photo'.
The left hand area of the panel provides convenient presets.
Step 6.Choose 'Document to file'. This will by default, save a pdf file....

Hewlett-Packard 2050 is an all-in-one colour printer with thermal inkjet technology having an printing output resolution of 600 dpi for black and up to 4800 x 1200dpi for colour prints. With 60-sheet input tray and 25-sheet output tray, it saves you from attending the machine every time you want to print. Features like one touch printing, optional XL cartridges and print cancelation button are useful to operate it. The included scanner has an optical scanning resolution of 1200dpi with 24-bit depth. The copier function can deliver up to 10 copies per minute.
