Scanning a Document
Ensure that the printer is turned on and connected to the computer or wireless router. Documents can be stored in pdf or tiff format. In this demo we scan to a pdf.
Step 1.Open the scanner cover.
Step 2.Place the document to be scanned face down on the scanner bed, its edges touching the bottom right hand border of the scanning bed.
Step 3.Flip down the scanner lid.
Step 4.Double click the HP Photosmart 5510 Icon.
Step 5.In the Panel that opens, click 'Scan a Document or Photo'.
The left hand area of the panel provides convenient presets....
