Add Contact Information Manually - Birthday or Special Date


  1. To add contact information manually first tap contacts in the home screen.
  2. The All Contacts screen opens.
  3. Tap the plus button at the top right. The New contacts screen opens.
  1. To enter your contact's birthday details, tap Add Field in the New Contact screen.
  1. In the Add Field screen, scroll down to Birthday and tap it.
  1. In the Edit Birthday screen, the current date appears in a box.
  1. Below, a rolling calendar - with month, date and year - appears within a window.
    • The current date is highlighted.
    • To change it, flick or drag your finger up or down the date, month or year columns.

  1. Tap Save at the top right.
  1. You return to the New Contact screen.
The saved birthday appears in a separate field.
  1. To enter any other special date related to your contact, tap Add Field again.
