  1. Your iPhone connects to the Internet using either a Wi-Fi network or a cellular data network.
  1. It first tries to connect over a Wi-Fi network.
    • Tap Settings on the Home screen.
    On the Settings screen, tap Wi-FiThe Wi-Fi Networks screen opens.
      • Tap the Wi-Fi switch and turn it ON.
        • As iPhone detects networks in range, a Choose a Network option slides into view

        The Linksys screen opens.Some Wi-Fi networks require a password.These networks have a lock icon.You must enter the password, and tap Join.
