  1. There are 3 ways to delete an email message.
    • Swipe across the message on the Inbox screen - and then delete.
    • Tap Edit on the Inbox screen - and then delete.
    • Open the message, use the delete icon at the bottom of the screen - and then delete.
    1. To swipe and then delete, first, tap Mail in the Home screen.
      • Tap an account, say Dev's Gmail.
      The Dev's Gmail screen opens.Then, tap Inbox.The Inbox screen opens.
        • To delete a message, swipe across it - either left or right.
        Tap it.The message gets deleted, and disappears from the screen.
          • To deselect a message identified for deletion, tap the screen anywhere in the message area outside the Delete button.
          1. To delete using the Edit button, first tap the button at the top right of the Inbox screen.
              • a round box appears to the left of each message.
              • 2 buttons - Delete and Move - appear at the bottom of the screen.
              • Next, tap a message.
