  1. To find your current location, you must first turn on Location Services on your iPhone.

  • Tap Settings on the Home screen.

    • On the Settings screen, tap General.
    The General screen opens.
      • Now, tap and turn ON the Location Services switch.

        • Your iPhone uses Location Services to determine your current location.

            • Location Services accesses available information from cellular network data, local Wi-Fi networks (if you have Wi-Fi turned on), and GPS.

                • GPS is more accurate and, if available, your iPhone uses it first.

                1. Next, to check your current location,
                  • First, press the Home button.

                  • Then, tap Maps on the Home screen.
                  The last viewed map screen opens.
                    • Finally, tap the current location icon at the bottom left.

                    1. If GPS signals are being received strongly enough, your iPhone identifies your current location with a round blue GPS locator dot.
                    • The blue dot pulsates and radiates waves - a clear indication that it is a dynamic display.
