Plan a Journey - Get Directions through Start and End Points


While using your maps application to plan a journey route, you must first fix your route's start and end points.

  1. On the Home screen, tap Maps.
The last viewed screen opens.
  1. Now, tap Directions, at the bottom.
  • A Directions screen opens,
  • The "letters" keyboard comes up, and
  • 2 fields - Start and End - appear at the top.

  1. The Start field is for entering the starting point of the journey.
The End field is for entering the end point of the journey.
  1. By default, the current location, if available, already appears in the Start field.
The End field is blank.
  1. In this demo, we first change the starting location.
