Send an MMS


  1. You can send multimedia, or MMS, messages from your iPhone 3G

You can also snap a photo within the Messages application.
For all this, your iPhone's operating system must be 3.0 or later.
  1. First ensure that, on the Settings screen, the MMS Messaging switch is turned on.
If you wish, also tap and turn on Show Subject Field.
  1. Next, tap Messages on the Home screen.
The last used screen in your Messages application opens.
  1. Tap the icon at the top right.
A New Message screen opens.
Note the subject line within the message bar.
  1. Notice also the button to the left of the message bar.
Tap it.
3 options come up - Take Photo, Choose Existing and Cancel.
  1. Tap Choose Existing.
The Photo Albums screen opens.
  1. Select a photo by first tapping an album, say, My photos.
Thumbnails of all photos in the album appear.
  1. Tap a photo.
The photo appears in full screen.
  1. Tap Choose, at the bottom.

  1. You return to the new message screen.
The photo appears within the message bar.
  1. Note that the title of the screen is now New MMS.
