Setting Date and Time


You can configure date and time settings on your iPhone.
Step-by-Step

  1. Tap Settings on the Home screen.

  1. On the Settings screen, tap General.

  1. On the General screen, scroll to Date & Time, and tap it.
The Date & Time screen appears.
  1. The 24-Hour Time switch toggles between ON and OFF.
    1. Tap it ON.
On the status bar, the time is displayed in the 24-hour format.
    1. Tap it OFF.
    The time display reverts to a 12-hour format.
      1. In our demo, we retain the 12-hour format.

          1. The Set Automatically switch also toggles between ON and OFF.

              1. To set the iPhone's time automatically - using its cellular network time - tap and turn the Set Automatically switch ON.

                  1. To manage iPhone's time manually, tap Set Automatically OFF.
                  Immediately, 2 options - Time Zone and Set Date & Time - appear.
                      1. Tap Time Zone.
                      1. In the Time Zone screen, start typing the name of the city to which you want to set iPhone's time zone.

                      1. As you type, iPhone lists the cities that match your search.
