Trim a voice memo


  1. You can trim the beginning or ending of a voice memo.
This eliminates avoidable gaps and noises.
  1. First, tap Voice Memos on the Home screen.
Tap the icon at the bottom right.The Voice Memos screen opens.
  1. Tap the round, blue button to the right of the memo you want to trim. .
Note the length of the memo.
  1. Now, tap Trim Memo, at the bottom.
An audio bar comes up, with a Play button to its left.
  1. Place your fingertip on the bar, anywhere between its 2 ends.
A rectangular bubble pops up, showing the length of the voice memo.
  1. To trim this memo, first place your fingertip on either end.
  1. Now, drag your fingertip to the right, along the audio bar, without lifting your finge...
