  1. The ".?123" key is at the lower left corner of the letters keyboard, below the Shift key.

  1. Tap the key.
A new keyboard opens - with numbers and symbols.
      • These include punctuation symbols like commas, periods, apostrophes, semi-colons and colons.
      • Tap any key, and the corresponding number or symbol appears on your screen.

      1. Note that the key at the lower left corner now has "ABC" on it.
      Tap the "ABC" key - and you return to the "letters" keyboard.
      1. You can switch between the 2 keyboards while typing.
          • Tap the ".?123" key to bring up the numbers and symbols keyboard.
          • Tap the "ABC" key to bring up the letters keyboard.
          • To check, start typing a sentence using the letters keyboard.
          • Then, to insert a comma, tap the ".?123" key.
          • The numbers and symbols keyboard opens.
          • Tap the comma key.
          • A comma appears at the blinking, insertion point on your screen.
          • Now switch back to the letters keyboard by tapping the "ABC" key or the "space" key.
