Using Headset with Touch Screen


  1. You can use the headset and listen to music or a phone call.
  1. Tap iPod in the Home screen.
  • The last screen you visited in the iPod application opens.
  • If this is not the Songs screen, tap Songs at the bottom of the screen.
  • The Songs screen opens.
  • Tap a song - say, It's Now or Never by Elvis Presley.
  • As the song plays, you can hear it clearly through the iPhone's external speaker at the bottom edge of the iPhone.
  • Now, insert the pin end of the headset into your iPhone's headset jack.
  • Immediately, the song ceases to be heard through the external speaker.
  • Note, however, that the song continues to play. (This can be seen from the progress bar which continues to move on top of the screen).
  • Next, fit the 2 headphones into your left and right ears.
  • You can hear the song clearly through the headphones.
  • To pause the song, tap the Pause button on the screen.
  • You no longer hear anything through the earphones.
  • The progress bar stops moving.
  • To resume playing the song, tap the Play button....
