Use iPhone's Suggestions


  1. Your iPhone offers suggestions as you type on the keyboard.

Just beneath the word typed, your iPhone proposes a replacement.
    • Type the letter "more", but spell it wrongly as "mord".
    Immediately, your iPhone suggests "more" as a correction.
    • Again, type a letter that contains an apostrophe - like "can't".
    However, type it without the apostrophe.
    Immediately, your iPhone suggests the apostrophe.
    1. The suggestions appear just below the typed word - in a little box that's rounded at the side.
    An "x" appears against the proposed replacement.
    • To accept a suggestion, tap the space bar.
    As you accept, observe the proposed word slide upwards and replace the typed word.
