Notes


The Notes application is your iPhone's word processor.

  1. Tap Notes on the Home screen.
    • A Notes screen opens, showing a yellow, lined pad.
    • A No Notes message appears, since no notes have yet been generated and saved by you.

  1. A New Note screen then opens, and a "letters" keyboard comes up.
    • The word "Today" appears at the top left of the pad.
    • The current date and time appear on the right.

  1. Type your note.
Once finished, tap Done, at the top right.
  1. The keyboard disappears, and a plus (+) button replaces the Done button.

  1. To type a fresh note, tap the plus (+) button.
    • A New Note screen again opens.
    • Type another note.
    • Then, tap Done.

  1. Now, tap Notes, at the top left.

The Notes screen opens - and becomes your table of contents.
    • The notes just typed are listed.
    • The most recent note appears at the top.

      • Each note is identified by its first few words.
      • The date, or time, the note was written, appears on the right.

        • The number of notes is indicated, within brackets, against the Notes title.
