Ring / Silent Switch


  1. The ring / silent switch is a small, silver colored switch located at the top of the iPhone's left edge.

  1. It can be shifted between "silent" and "ring" modes.

  1. Move the switch towards your iPhone screen.
    • The iPhone's ringer is now On - and a large bell icon briefly appears before fading out.
