You can set a volume limit for music and videos on your iPhone.

  1. Tap Settings on the Home screen.
On the Settings screen, tap iPod.Then, tap Volume Limit on the iPod screen.
  1. A Volume Limit screen opens.
  1. Now, set the maximum volume - by dragging the slider along the volume bar to your desired level.
  1. If you wish to fix this setting - so that it can't be changed without a passcode - tap Lock Volume Limit.
    • A Set Code screen opens.
      • Use the numbers keyboard to enter a 4-digit Volume Limit code.
      Re-enter the code to confirm it.
