If your iPhone doesn't respond


  1. If your iPhone doesn't respond, first ensure it's not low on power.
So charge it.
  1. If this doesn't work, try quitting the current application.
Press and hold the Home button for around 6 seconds.
  1. If this also doesn't work, try restarting your iPhone.
    • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears on the screen.
    • Drag the red slider to the right.
    • Your iPhone turns off.
    • Now, press the Sleep/Wake button.
    • The Apple logo appears as your iPhone boots up, and restarts.
  1. If that doesn't work, reset your iPhone.
  • Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds.
  • Wait till the Apple logo appears.
  1. If the problem persists, reset your phone settings.
    • Tap Settings on the Home screen.
