Spotlight - Introduction


  1. With your iPhone 3G's Spotlight search facility, you can search all applications from a single place.

  1. In individual applications, a search is conducted only in that application.
  1. Tap, say, YouTube on the Home screen.
  • Then, tap Search at the bottom.
  • A search screen opens.
  • Note, however, that the search bar specifies YouTube.
  • This means, searches will happen only within YouTube.

  1. Searches on Spotlight are different.
From one place, you can find content across your iPhone.
Note that the Spotlight search bar reads "Search iPhone".
