The Pearl 9100 3G builds on the older Pearl series with an upgraded HVGA display, optical trackpad to replace the trackball and a new 3.2 megapixel camera with flash. The 9100 features a 20-key condensed hybrid QWERTY keyboard with SureType technology. The Pearl 3G runs on the Blackberry OS 5.0 system, and has 256 MB of memory that's expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card slot. It measures less than two inches wide, weighs a mere 93g and yet manages to pack in support for high-speed 3G (UMTS/HSDPA) networks, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and GPS.
