You can reset the date and time on your iPod nano.
When you first connect iPod nano to the computer, the date and time are set automatically from your computer's clock.
You can now change these settings.
To set the date

  1. From the Main menu, select Settings.
  1. Select Date & Time.
  1. Various options are tossed up.
  1. Choose Date.
  1. A Set Date screen opens.
  1. The current date, as stored in the iPod, is displayed in 2 formats
a.month and day format, and
b.month-day-year format.
  1. Use the Click Wheel to change a value - and press the Center button to set the value and move to the next value.
      1. can also use the Previous/Rewind button or Next/Fast-forward button to move through the values.
      1. In this manner, set the month, day and the year.
      1. After the date is set, press the Center button and return to the Date & Time menu.

      Now set the time;
      1. Select Time.
      1. The Set Time screen appears.
      1. By default your iPod nano clock is in the 12-hour format.
