AERO SNAP
Aero Snaps is a new window management function that makes it very easy to maximize or minimize windows.Let us open two windows.1. In our demo we open the folders FFMPEG and SED_STUFF from the desktop.2. Click on the top bar of the SED_STUFF folder and drag the folder upwards towards the top of the screen edge.3. When the mouse cursor reaches the top edge, the whole screen turns a transparent, glassy blue.4. Release the mouse button. The SED_STUFF folder gets maximized to fill up the entire screen.5. To restore it into the previous size, drag the top bar of the folder downwards. As you drag it down, it goes back to its original size. There are keyboard shortcuts too, for the same functions.6. On the keyboard, press the windows button and the up arrow together as a combination. This maximizes the window to full screen.7. Hit the windows key and the down arrow button together, as a combination. This restores the folder to its previous size and position. There is also a maximize vertically function.8. Take the mouse cursor towards the top edge of the folder. The mouse cursor changes into a double sided vertical arrow.9. Click on the edge and drag it upwards. That starts elongating the folder vertically.10. When you reach the top edge of the screen, the centre of the screen turns a glassy blue indicating this is the size that the folder will now occupy.11. Release the mouse button. The folder maximizes vertically.12. Click on the top bar and start dragging downwards. This restores the window to its previous state. There is a keyboard shortcut for maximize vertically.13.
